Peptide Research Terminology Guide
Identity, purity, content, half-life, and activity are different words. This page keeps them apart. 21+. Research only.
These words are not synonyms
Identity asks whether the expected compound is present. Purity describes a chromatographic result under a stated method. Content is how much the report measured, in the unit it prints. Activity is a biological assay, and most of these certificates do not report one.
Half-life is a literature measurement from a study. It is not a line on the Janoshik reports linked from this shop.
