An HGH Report Is Not a Short-Peptide COA with the Name Swapped

HPLC area percent and a protein identity test are different jobs. Read the method that was actually run.

Bring the file, not the memory of another file

You already know what a peptide COA on this site tends to look like. Ipamorelin task 150447 prints a purity percent. Tesamorelin task 134410 prints 22.59% and purity 98.472%. Those sheets answer the questions that lab ran on those samples. They are a bad template for HGH if you only change the title.

HGH 15 IU is a recombinant protein listing in IU. A report for it has to name HGH, or somatropin if that is the sample name the lab used, and it has to show the method. A high percent copied from a peptide page does not become an HGH result by proximity.

Identity and purity still split

A chromatographic peak says something came off the column at a retention time under that method. A mass or another identity test says something about the molecule. For a larger protein, the identity work is not the same routine as a short peptide, and a buyer who only knows the peptide layout can miss that the report is doing a different job.

Ask what was measured. If the sheet does not say, do not fill the silence with the word purity. ICH and FDA method documents are useful here because they keep telling you the same boring thing: a number belongs to a procedure.

Units on the report versus units on the cap

If the cap says 15 IU and the report talks in mass or in percent, write both and do not collapse them. Percent is not IU. Milligrams are not IU. The catalog will not do that conversion for you, because a wrong factor would be worse than a blank.

Match the batch identifier on the report to the batch on the vial before any figure moves into the notebook. A beautiful chromatogram for a different lot is a beautiful chromatogram for a different lot.

What we will not print ahead of the file

This article does not invent a task number, a purity percent, or a content result for HGH 15 IU. When the batch-linked report is the one linked from the product page, use that image. Do not retype it into a cleaner table and do not crop the date off to make a slide.

If someone sends a screenshot with the task number missing, treat it as unfinished. The peptide articles on this site already say that about other products. It applies here too.

A short standard

Sample name fits HGH 15 IU or the somatropin alias. Batch fits the vial. Method is named. Units are the units printed. Anything else waits.

Build a blank you are willing to leave blank

Make a one-page cover sheet for HGH reports: sample name, batch, date, lab, task, method, result, unit. Pre-print the SKU as HGH 15 IU so the header cannot say Tesamorelin by habit. Leave every result line empty until the PDF fills it. An empty cover sheet clipped to a missing file is more honest than a cover sheet that borrowed 98.472%.

When the real file arrives, the cover sheet should quote, not improve. If the lab’s sample name says somatropin, write that under the SKU as the alias, and keep HGH 15 IU as the catalog line. Do not retitle the PDF to match a preference.

If a report arrives as a screenshot, ask for the file the lab issued before you build the cover sheet. Screenshots lose the task number in the crop and keep the percent, which is the opposite of what you want. The cover sheet can wait a day. A wrong percent in the sheet cannot be unsent once someone forwards it.
